February is Heart Month and at TITLE Boxing Club of Ann Arbor (TITLE A2), we are partnering with C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan to support its Save a Heart campaign.

Each year, nearly 1 in 110 babies are born with congenital heart disease, making it the No. 1 birth defect in the country, and it’s a diagnosis that requires lifelong care. The Congenital Heart Center (CHC) at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is one of the largest and most experienced pediatric heart programs in the U.S. It is also an international referral center for kids with complex congenital heart disease. 

The center provides the most advanced care for infants, children, and adolescents with all forms of heart disease, as well as for adults born with congenital heart defects.  We aim to lead the way in improving quality of life for patients with heart defects by: 

• Creating systems that allow congenital heart survivors to thrive 

• Connecting heart centers across the country to enhance standards of care

• Enabling more research and faster discoveries 

• Providing personalized medicine 

• Developing innovative devices and therapies

During the month of February the team at TITLE A2 will be accepting donations for the Save a Heart campaign, with the highlight being the Hits for Hearts All-Star Class on Saturday February 17th at 11am at TITLE Boxing Club in Ann Arbor. Your $15 donation will reserve your spot in the 75-minute class, one pair of commemorative Maize and Blue hand wraps, and a raffle ticket to be entered in TITLE's post-class give-away.
